Tour Salmon Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant

6 10 2017

From the clark.wa.gov website, we learn that The Salmon Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant serves about 39,300 homes and businesses as well as an estimated 83,900 Clark County residents living inside the Clark Regional Wastewater District and city of Battle Ground.

The plant’s capacity has an impressive 14.95 million gallons a day, considerably more than it’s average daily flow of 7.35 million gallons.

Public Works operates and maintains the plant, along with its pump stations and regional interceptor sewer lines. The department’s goal is to operate the system in a safe, dependable and cost-effective manner that meets all environmental regulations.

We have created a series of segmented videos to take you on a tour of this impressive Salmon Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. Come with me to see this top notch facility and learn first hand how our wastewater is put through it’s cycles.

I’m Jim West and I’d appreciate your vote for Clark Regional Wastewater District Commissioner.
